Does Primus only offer international calling?
Primus is a full service long distance provider. We provide quality residential and businesses international, state-to-state, in-state, and intraLATA (upon request), long distance calling service. In order to benefit from Primus discounted, international rates, and our low per minute rate for state-to- state calls within the contiguous US 48 states, customers will need to switch over their service to Primus.

Is Primus a 10-10 access code company or calling card company?
Primus is not one of those 10-10 access code or calling card companies. Instead Primus is a full service long distance provider, providing quality residential and business international, state-to-state, in-state, and intraLATA long distance calling service.

Is there a fee to switch to Primus?
Primus does not charge any switching fees in order to receive our quality long distance services. However, your local phone company may charge you a switching fee to change long distance companies.

How will Primus bill me for my long distance service?
Primus provides a detailed invoice on a monthly basis. This bill is conveniently separated from your local phone company's bill and is easy to understand. Additionally, Primus provides monthly bill messages that often inform you about offers for additional discounts, added services and lowered rates. Plus, Primus offers you online and credit card billing.

Are there any contracts or agreements to sign if I join Primus?
Joining Primus is risk free. There are no contracts or agreements to sign to begin saving.

What is Primus Passport?
Traveling internationally? The Primus Passport calling card makes business calls from international locations easy. No more worrying about the expensive calls from hotel rooms: simply dial the access number for the country you are visiting, and Primus will connect your call. From this point forward, it’s just like dialing a call domestically!

Does Primus have Customer Service?
Primus has a state-of-the-art customer service center with over 120 representatives available to assist you with any questions. The toll free number for customer service is provided on your welcome letter and on your monthly statements. The number to Primus Customer Service is 1-888-877-4687.

When can I start using Primus?
Whether you have signed up with Primus through one of our representatives or through our web site, Primus will submit your order to your local phone company within 24 hours. Depending on your local phone company's procedures and possible restrictions that you have requested on your account. The change in service could take anywhere from 7-10 business days to complete. You may dial toll free 1-700-555-4141 directly from your home phone to check the status of your switch. In addition, Primus will mail you a welcome letter, which will provide you with instructions and other information about our services. This is a good indication that you are connected with Primus and can start saving on your long distance.
